Have you ever wondered how strippers and porn stars (who shave all the time if they don't get laser hair removal) NEVER have a rash? Here's what you do: First off, use a new, sharp razor every time. Wet the area and use a good shave cream (Coochy is a good one) and shave as usual. Then, right after you dry off apply deoderant to the shaved area. I know it sounds weird but it works. I just use plain old stick anti-perspirant.

I would agree with that but stress that you need to make sure you are 100% dry before you put on the deoderant. I'll towel dry and walk around for a few minutes and then put it on.

It’s about time. I’ve been looking for something like this. I’ll have to try it sometime. Do you apply the deodorant all over it or just where you usually get the rash?

Put it on the bikini line only! I don't think it would be very good for you in other areas..

Yeah, you’re right. And duh, I don’t get rashes anywhere else so that was a pretty stupid question. For thanks for the info. Finally, a trick to avoid rashes.

this also works for men. that is if you can convince your man to take it all off, trust me it's a little harder for men.

it wasn't that hard to convince my boyfriend to shave himself. i think the guys who don't want to shave because it's "gay" are just plain immature and stupid.

I have a question. How often should one shave? I know that I can only do about once a week or it is painful. Any suggestions? Any tips about ingrown hairs?

I have found that if you shave in the direction your hair grows it helps with ingrown hairs.

Shaving in the same direction of the hair definitely helps, and rinsing the razor in cold water during the shave is crucial.  Coochy products are fabulous by the way.
