When was the last time you visited your dentist? And your physician? How about a clinic that tests you for sexually transmitted viruses?
Public health officials report that most Americans see their dentist more often than their physicians each year, so why not combine a few procedures? In NYC, Dr. Catrise Austin is doing just that. Read this piece at CarnalNation: Going to the Dentist for an HIV Test Funny, when I was in my early 20s, I was having work dental work done. Mouth was bleeding heavily. I remember my long-time dentist asking me if I had AIDS (jokingly, I think) because he came in contact with so much of my blood.
