There is no right or wrong way to buy sex toys, just like there are no right or wrong toys to buy. When it comes to sex toys opinion matters more than anything else, you are only limited by your imagination- and there are even sex toy games that can help you expand that! When it comes to buying sex toys for someone else, like a lover, a friend, or for a bachelor/Bachelorette party, it can be a little tougher to decide. We’re going to assume that if you are shopping for a sex toy for someone else that you are fairly intimate with them. So here are some things to keep in mind, or ask slyly before hand to get an idea of what is the best choice.
What materials do they like best? Are they looking for something that will feel the most like skin?
Are they fairly conservative, or do they like to get a little rough and wild?
Is this for them to use alone or with a partner (or two or three . . .)?
If you’re shopping for a lady, or a guy with a monogamous relationship, you should also try and figure out if they get off with clitoral stimulation, penetration or both.
A dildo or vibrator is usually a good choice when shopping for someone else. They can be pleasurable for both men and women. They aren’t “out there” enough to embarrass most people but are versatile enough the even experienced sex toy users can have fun with them. Best of all they come in a huge array of colors, sizes, and materials so you can really pick out something unique to that person.
