I have one child already and would like to have another. My partner has low sperm count. Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting pregnant while he is working on increasing his sperm count?

When my ex and I were trying to conceive the doctor advised, "Quality is better than quantity." My wife wanted to get me off like a sperm bank and as much fun as it was it wasn't productive. We slowed down as he advised and she got pregnant. I've read somewhere that it takes at least six hours to replace the sperm you've lost in an ejaculation and if he has a low count you might even want to limit the extraction to once a day or possibly once every other day. I know when you're trying there's a lot of stress over the timing but I also remember reading that they can live inside of you, swimming around, for three to four days. Have you talked to a MD or a fertility specialist? Hank

I have also read that wearing brief-style underware can cause them little suckers to be too warm thus decreasing their mobility. I know when I get warm, I slow down and am not as active. The advice I have always read was wear boxers...
