Hey Balky -

There is no known law affecting the sale of sex toys in Kentucky. As an online retailer of sex toys, we would not send you letters refusing your business!

Here's some info for you: http://www.caitlainscorner.com/content/view/368/177/

hmm. and youre abso postive on that?. wonder if theres laws for countys or towns then?. maybe that was it. who knows. if someone bought a few things and its legal then why would they send a paper saying theyre lawyers said they couldnt sens any more items?. odd.i think the persons best bet would be not to buy anymore at all. not worth the potentianal problems in an increaslingly communist world. 8/ thanks for the help. o one more thing it might be because adult dvd"s might be illegal in ky. something i found.

We Do Not Ship To
We presently cannot ship ADULT DVD titles to addresses in Alabama, Virginia, Florida Zip Codes 32300-32699, "Kentucky", Mississippi, Tennessee and Utah. Due to community standards, country's restrictions and obscenity laws, DVDs are restricted in the locations indicated above.

If the political bible-thumpers in Kentucky are anything like what we've got in Alabama you will have a hard time buying anything adult related. They are illegal here and I wouldn't be surprised if they are there as well. You won't be able to buy it in person but you should be able to find it online. I know some companies refuse to ship because of the state law which is a big reason I started mail ordering from Tabu. I'm not very familiar with adult DVDs though.

It may be a paranoid company that does not have current info. There are certain areas in Mississippi and Alabama still banning sex toys (and a county or 2 in Georgia). Texas (and most of Miss) had a ban until Valentine's Day last year. Not many people realize it was overturned.

Check it out with your locals - it may be a ban on porn but not toys.

I don't know about Kentucky but in Virginia it is illegal to own sex toys but we still have a couple or so sex shops in Virginia. But why worry about your state? There's so many online shops to choose from.

You have a company that restricts the sale of DVDs (pornos) to those states? I know when I was first thinking about getting my first vibrator last summer, (at age 24) I wanted to get the vibrating touch but according to their website they couldn't sell to Virginia and other states because it was illegal to own a vibrator like here in Virginia. If I was just across the border (which I don't live far from) to WV or TN I could've gotten it, but adameve.com and tabutoys.com provided me my first bullet/vibrator. And I did eventually get a vibrating touch but it was a "used" one on amazon and I am now getting my money back from it because it sucked and broke down on me.

Ahhhh!! Amazon sold you a used sex toy?? That is absolutely unhealthy and totally repulsive.

We follow a strict code of conduct at tabu and would never attempt to resell anything that has left our warehouse, opened or unopened. All returns are discarded without question.

It wasn't exactly used. It was in a good package. I think they mean used by someone bought it and decided to sell it back without using it. Trust me, it was healthy just not of good quality but at least now I have my refund.
