Okay so some of us are "older virgins". I'm a 25 (almost 26) year old virgin. And some people find it hot but others are totally freaked out and disgusted. So as far as your experiences with taking away someone's virginity, what's the oldest virgin you've fucked (taken away their virginity)? What did you think of it? And was it a male or female.

-sighs dramatically-
I've never slept with a virgin but I certainly wouldn't be opposed or disgusted

Why the dramatic sigh?

Same here, it seems like the only guys I meet are either the good, Christian type who claim they want to wait until marriage or they are the disgusting scuzzy type that aren't just hornballs but have no life and might be on drugs. Or at least they are gay or married.

I would love to meet a guy around my age who is a decent person but doesn't believe you have to be holier than thou. I'm not asking for supermodel hotness but it would be nice if they were cute, and had all of their teeth

Princess: age and virginity are not necessarily like quantities. Virginity infers that you haven't had sexual experience. Don't be to anxious because that leads to mistakes, sometimes the eight pound variety or diseases. Forget age. Find some one, befriend them, and if the attraction is there, don't worry you'll lose it soon enough.

But where are you looking? Bars are not necessarily a good choice. Churches I found full of hypocrisy. Try a local community college, university, recreation center or something like that. You sound young enough to fit in. And remember unless you go to Japan and have half your ear lobe sewn in down there you can only give it once.

I remember a young lady I loved very much who often said she regretted having lost her virginity before meeting me but two things come into play here; what's in the past is done and experience can be a very cruel teacher so choose well. Hank

Hank, I would argue that virginity isn't necessarily a good determinant of sexual experience either. (=

If it hadn't have been for my first boyfriend I would probably still be a virgin too. I didn't have sex until I was 22 and at times I thought it would never happen. I can tell you it was a little embarassing even admitting it at the time, kind of like having a social disease. Many people seem to think that virginity is attractive but I can tell you that alot of guys were freaked out by it and didn't want the pressure of being the first. Luckily I finally found a very understanding guy who finally "relieved me" of it.

Adriana: Do you understand the rush or concern of these kids to lose their virginity today, particularly the girls? I know it's a lot different from when I was young; the boys were in a hurry to lose it and the girls sent us home with "blue balls" so they could keep it. It seemed more of a badge of honor for the ladies to be married in white. Hank

The tides have changed and young girls aren't expected to be good, little virgins anymore, especially in local middle and high schools. I've even found that the opposite idealism is apparent, instead of the sexually experienced girls being seen as the nasty, bad girls and the virgins as good, sweet girls. Virgins today seem to be seen as the shrewd, prudish, and freaky types and the sexually experienced girls are like glorified goddesses. Perhaps in another 100 years we will revert back to a Victorian-esque age, but who knows.

BTW: I turned 26 yesterday and I'm still a virgin, I really hope things change very soon, not just to lose my virginity but just to have a good boyfriend.

I think one of the things that has gone askew is the definition of 'sex'. I have been hearing that one of the newest trends is oral sex...well, maybe not new...but it is not considered 'sex' and that by participating in oral sex, keeps your status as a virgin intact. So whats wrong with this picture?

Scary, huh? Somehow I see oral sex as waaay more intimate than plain old penetration. Back in my day, oral wasn't even an option! But then again, I didn't get to see it all on the internet before I got to witness it in the flesh with no road map.

Speaking of learning about sex at a later  age. I mean I thought I learned everything I needed to know (mostly from a sister of mine) by the age 14 but after age 18 I learned of positions and practices that I couldn't even imagined or hardly dreamed of. Like a just year ago, I learned about the practice of pegging and I could've never imagined that. And urbandictionary.com goes as far as describing a variation of pegging called, punting. Not only is it anal sex in reverse but it's also a blow job (specifically in reversed). I guess we learn more because of the internet and new media of today. And especially as an adult, I'm more likely to watch late night television. I swear I don't have to rent a porn to see a lot of flesh and learn about sexuality
